James P. D'Iorio MD

Dr. James P. D’Iorio, formerly of Forty Fort, died Saturday, February 10, 2024, at his home in Thompson.

Born in Pittston, he was a son of the late Attorney Anthony F.X. and Deomina Adonizio D’Iorio.
He graduated from the University of Scranton and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. For many years, he practiced family medicine in Forty Fort.

Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Dr. Norina D’Iorio, and his brother, Dr. Robert D’Iorio. Many cousins and several trusted and loyal friends survive him.

Private interment will be in the family plot at Denison Cemetery in Swoyersville.
