Agnes Sheridan Hulsizer, 73, died at her home in Plymouth on Thursday.
Born October 28, 1937 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late John and Theresa Cavanaugh Sheridan.
Agnes attended Saint Mary's High School.
Before retiring, Agnes was a presser in the local garment industry and a member of ILGWU.
Her husband, Joseph W. Hulsizer died May 22, 2004. A son, Ceasar Lefort, sisters, Mary Derr, Betty Heiderbring, Margaret Domkowski, Rose Sherman, Tilly Neely and Rita Sheridan, and brothers, Raymond and James Sheridan also preceded her in death.
Agnes will be missed by her children, Bernadette Lefort and her companion Peter Pissott of Plymouth, Dorothy and her husband Bill Waterhouse of Indiana, Joseph and his wife Emily Hulsizer of Iowa and Ralph and his wife Melinda Hulsizer of Indiana; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sisters, Regina Rowles and Veronica Thieman; and her faithful companion, Katie.
Celebration of Agnes’ Life will be held Monday at 8:30 AM from McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park in Dallas.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin's on Sunday from 5 to 8 PM
