Albert Kishel, 73, died peacefully in the presence of his loving family at his home in Bear Creek on Sunday.
Born July 30, 1940 in Taylor and raised in Dupont he was a son of Betty VanLuvender Kishel and the late Albert Kishel.
A graduate of West Pittston High School he earned his baccalaureate degree at Wilkes University.
Al had been a Certified Public Accountant for fifty years, more than thirty of which were in private practice.
He will be greatly missed by his mother; his wife, the former Judith Lumsden; children, Cheyrl and her husband Michael Craig of Sciota, Craig Kishel of Denver, Colorado, Courtney and her husband Mark Powell of Harrisburg and Chad and his wife Mia Kishel of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Carson and Sophia Craig, Brayden and Brynley Powell and Edie Rose Kishel; a brother, Ronald and his wife Davie Ann Kishel of Dupont; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Celebration of Albert’s Life will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at the Pocono Lake Wesleyan Church, 203 Spur Road in Pocono Lake. Interment will be in the churchyard cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM and Friday from 4 to 6 PM at McLaughlin’s – The Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
