Andrew John Van Loon, 28, formerly of Dallas, passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on March 25th, 2015.
Born August 28, 1986 in Kingston he was a son of Mark A. and Stephanie House Van Loon.
A 2005 graduate of Dallas High School, Andrew went on to earn a degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University where he was a brother at his fraternity, Tau Epsilon Phi. Andrew furthered his education at Ohio Northern University where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree.
After graduation Andrew moved to Phoenix where he eventually established his own legal practice. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Arizona and the United States Tax Court.
Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Andrew would recall his warm, loving, comedic and vibrant personality. He was a generous man who gave abundantly to all those who needed him.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, Mark and Stephanie; brothers, Peter and Paul; sister-in-law, Megan; niece, Grace; aunts, Ann, Linda, and Celeste; uncle, Monsignor Neil J. Van Loon; other family and friends.
Celebration of Andrew’s Life will begin Tuesday with visitation from 4 to 7 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre and continue with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 AM at the Church of Saint Maria Goretti, Laflin Road in Laflin with Monsignor Neil J. Van Loon, celebrating. Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
