Ann Keeney, 82, of Lafayette Hill passed peacefully at home on December 15th following a brief illness. She was surrounded by her family, and her constant four legged companion, Ernie, a Sussex spaniel.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Keeney, Ann was a devoted mother to Sharon, Deborah (Dominic), and Michael. In addition, she was an adoring “Jama” to her twin grandchildren, Kelly and Andrew. Ann is also survived by her brother, Paul Sinay and sister, Catherine Mashala, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann graduated from Hanover High School in Wilkes-Barre. She worked as a directory assistance operator and retired from Verizon in 1991. At that time she was in the Pottstown office, having relocated to the Philadelphia suburbs to join her children.
Ann enjoyed life. She loved to travel, shop, and go to the theatre. Most of all, she was a homemaker. She loved caring for her family and creating a home. To Ann, there was no place like home.
