Barry E. George, 57, of Gibson Avenue in Kingston died Tuesday at his home.

Born April 10, 1952 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late James and Mary Raub George.

Barry attended James M. Coughlin High School and had been a computer technician for Procter & Gamble in Mehoopany since 1975.

Barry was a member of the Harley Owners Group and The Shiners. He appreciated the finer things in life, reveling in the sun and sand in Florida for many years, and cooking dinner for family and friends.

The love of his life was his dog, Buddy.

His twin-brother, Garry and brothers, James and Buddy (Ralph) preceded him in death.

Surviving are his sisters and brother, June Marie and her husband Nevin Gorki of Kingston, Diane Evans of Dallas, Robert George of Wilkes-Barre, Darlene Romanoski of Bear Creek, Marcia George of California and Marilynn and her husband Chuck Artim of Plains. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Barry’s Life will be held Monday at 9 AM from McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in Church of Saint Ignatius. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.

Friends may call Sunday 5 to 8 PM
