Betty McNulty, 91, of Wilkes-Barre died Tuesday, October 9, 2018.
Born March 8, 1927 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Hreha Latsko.
Betty was a 1945 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. She retired after many years working for the Social Security Administration.
Her husband, Raymond J. McNulty, died July 6, 1994. Sisters, Helen, Margaret, Anne, Josephine and Sylvia, and brothers, Andrew, William and John, also preceded her in death.
Family was very important to Betty, and she was very happy to spend time with those many family members who gathered for a granddaughter’s wedding this past weekend.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Marianne and her husband Morgan Whitebread of Bethlehem, Raymond M. and his wife Kathy McNulty of Spring, Texas, Mark M. McNulty of Kingston and Neal P. McNulty of Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Maureen and her husband Andrew Witmer, Lauren Whitebread, Leanne and her husband Justin Kochenberger, James and his wife Jennifer McNulty, Paul and his wife Hannah McNulty, Mark McNulty, Megan and her husband Matt Heffron, and Sadie McNulty; great-grandchildren, Katie, Ben and John Witmer; sister, Christine Walkowiak of Wilkes-Barre; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Celebration of Betty’s Life will be held Saturday, October 13th, with visitation beginning at 12 PM followed by a service at 1 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to the American Heart Association.
