Carol Kocik Cunningham, 60, of Wilkes-Barre died Sunday at Commonwealth Hospice.
Born November 9, 1952 in Swoyersville she was a daughter of the late John J. and Julia Banyar Kocik.
Carol attended Holy Trinity School and graduated from Central Catholic High School in Kingston.
Before retiring she was a member services representative for Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania for forty years.
Carol enjoyed spending time with friends and family at their summer residence at Camp Onawandah near Tunkhannock.
Her husband, Lee H. Frith died in June of 2006. A sister, Judith Kocik also preceded her in death.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Zachary Frith of Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Jane Kocik of Swoyersville, Mary and her husband William Storz of Forty Fort; brother: John and his wife Diane Kocik of Wilkes-Barre; mother-in-law, Betty Lux of Lee Park; other family and friends.
Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held Wednesday with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in the Church of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street in Swoyersville. Visitation will be held in the church on Wednesday beginning at 10 AM.
