Carol Ann Snyder, 62, passed away November 16, 2011 at Kindred Hospital.
Carol was a passionate writer, who encouraged and taught others in their reading and writing endeavors. She loved taking care of animals and was certified in animal rescue. She was particularly proud of "This is My Heart, Take Care", a collection of her poetry which she co-published with her sister, Laurie Turley.
Carol was foremost a loving person who cared deeply for her friends and family, especially her son, Seth, daughter-in-law Erin, and infant grandson, Ivan.
She is pre-deceased by her father, George Snyder, and her long-time friend, Kip Hibbard.
She is survived by their son, Seth Hibbard, his wife Erin, and their son Ivan Hibbard, Carol's grandson, whom she dearly loved. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed by her mother, Mary Snyder, her step-father Paul Nadon, siblings and their spouses: Joan and Fred Cady, Lennie Whitney, Glenn and Nancy Snyder, Duane and Laura Snyder, Randy Snyder, Laurie and Ken Turley, and her nieces and nephews and their respective spouses: Amy and Steve Samuelson, Michael Whitney, Daniel and Tammy Snyder, Dusty and Tim Schultz, Melissa Cady, Emily Turley and Ethan Turley.
Celebratiion of Carol's Life will be held on Sunday, November 20th, 2011 at 2 PM at Redeemer Church, 72 Main Street in Binghamton, New York. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
