Charles A. Leo, Sr., 75, of Diebel Avenue in Wilkes-Barre died unexpectedly on Thursday.
Born January 22, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late Angelo and Madeline Cameron Leo.
Charles was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Leo was a member of the Carpenters and Joiners Local Union 645 for more than twenty-five years.
Charles enjoyed fishing and tending to his vegetable garden.
Surviving are his wife, the former Marian Bloom; daughter, Marcella (Marcy) Leo Morgan and her husband Bob Morgan of Mountain Top; son, Charles Anthony Leo, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Cronin Leo of Shavertown; grandchildren, Monica Morgan, Robert Morgan, Jr., Trey (Charles, III) Leo and Nicole Leo.
Celebration of Charles’s Life will be held Monday at 10:30 AM from McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Church of Saint Nicholas. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin’s on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
