C. Roberts Tilghman, Bob, 76, of Kingston, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 29, 2021.
Born August 31, 1944, in Upland, he was a son of the late Charles R. and Ruth Allmon Tilghman.
A 1962 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School, Bob continued his education at Johnson Technical Institute.
Bob proudly served our country as a Corporal of the Marine Corps, Second Marine Division, Second Tank Battalion for more than three years during the Vietnam Era.
Bob was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, serving as Past Commander of Post 283 and Past District 11 Commander. He was also a member of American Legion Post 603, DAV, and Albright United Methodist Church.
A son, Richard K. Phillips, grandson, Mark Gregory, sister, Ruth Tilghman, and brothers, Robert V. and Eugene Tilghman, preceded him in death.
His wife, the former Sharon Wilcox; daughters, Tammy Noaker and Jacki McLean; son, Howard Phillips; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; sister, Dorothy Lewis; other family and friends will miss him very much.
Interment with Military Honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
