Charles Anthony Idell, Jr., 56, of Madison Street in Wilkes-Barre died Thursday at his home.
Born 23 November 1952 in Philadelphia he was a son of Eleanor Greer Idell and the late Charles A. Idell.
An Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, he was discharged with the rank of Corporal.
Following his war service, Charlie was trained and certified as an automotive inspection technician and worked for Pep Boys for several years. He had been employed for the past ten years by Balester Optical Company where he was a member of CWA 81408 United Optical Workers.
A son, Charles A. Idell, III preceded him in death.
Surviving, in addition to his mother,
are his wife the former Debora Dumin
Daughter, Lea
Brothers, Michael, Jack and Gregory
Sister, Patricia
and several nieces and nephews who will also miss him
Funeral will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at McLaughlin Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
