Charles E. Roman, 74, of Provincial Tower in Wilkes-Barre died Thursday at Golden Living Center- Summit.
Born October 29, 1934 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late Charles and Mary Bronchick Romanowski.
Charley served in the Army in the early 1960s.
Before retiring in 1994, Charley was a member of the Teamsters Union and drove over the road for Associated Transport and Yellow Freight.
A brother, Edward Romanowski preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, the former Patricia Ann McNamara, a step-daughter, Claudia Urban of Germany and a brother, John Romanowski of Clarks Summit.
Charley's Life will be Celebrated in a Memorial Service on Wednesday at 1 PM at McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
