Christie Ann O'Connor Lisnow

Christie Ann O'Connor Lisnow, a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, passed away on October 16, 2024.

Born on December 14, 1978, in Wilkes-Barre, Christie moved to Dallas in her teens, where she would become a cherished member of her community.

A proud graduate of Meyers High School, Christie pursued her passion for beauty and graduated from beauty school, embarking on a successful career as a highly regarded hair stylist. Over her twenty-plus years in the industry, she worked at several notable salons, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.

To know Christie for just five minutes was to know her for a lifetime and to love her was effortless. Her bright smile, warm personality, and big heart define her, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and hope. In her final years, Christie dedicated herself to personal growth, inspiring those around her with her determination to be better.

Christie is survived by her loving husband, Damon Lisnow; her three adoring children, Dylan, Gaven, and Ella Lisnow; her mother, Bridget Potorski; her brother, Zachary Kranson; and her two stepfathers, Eric Kranson and Bob Potorski. She will also be missed by her two beloved dogs, Stella and Gabe.

In death, Christie rejoins her cherished grandparents, Thomas and Marilyn O'Connor, as well as her dogs Pugsley, Toby, Winston, and Sage.

Christie's light shone brightly, illuminating the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her love, kindness, and laughter will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Celebration of Christie's Life will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Visitation will begin at 10 AM and be followed by a Remembrance Service at 11:30 AM.
