Christopher R. Fox, 50, a native of Wilkes-Barre, was taken home by our Lord to be with his mother on Sunday, January 21, 2018.
Born February 8, 1967 in Pottstown he was a son of Richard H. Fox of Nanticoke and the late Ann C. Madden Fox.
A 1985 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Chris was an active member of the Stage Crew and played tuba in the marching, jazz and stage bands. He continued his education studying music at Wilkes University.
Christopher was employed by AAA Mid-Atlantic for the past eleven years, and previously worked for Sunshine Markets and Bargains Galore stores for many years. He created the persona DJ Chris for his company, Foxmeister Music Total Entertainment.
Chris was a member of the Parish of Saint Robert Bellarmine and communicant at the Church of Saint Aloysius where he was active in the music ministry as a cantor and choir member. He was a founder of the Saint Aloysius Youth Group and taught religious education classes for many years.
Chris enjoyed traveling, concerts and spending time with family and classmates at reunions.
His mother, Ann C. Madden Fox, whom he loved and missed dearly, preceded him in death on April 29, 2013.
He will be greatly missed by his father, Richard H. Fox; sister, Briget and her husband Bill Ford of Wilkes-Barre Township; brother, Reverend Richard E. Fox, Pastor of the Parish Community of Saint Patrick in Scranton; nephew and niece, Mitchell and Cameron Ford; other family and friends.
Celebration of Christopher's Life will begin Wednesday with visitation from 5 to 8 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre and continue there on Thursday with gathering at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Aloysius.
Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to the building fund of the Parish of Saint Robert Bellarmine, 142 West Division Street, Wilkes-Barre, 18702
