Corinne Fronzoni Namey

Corinne Namey, 89, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family at her home on December 16, 2024.

Born June 21, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Julio and Teresa Veroni Fronzoni.

A loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she loved everyone. Corinne lived a full life traveling, shopping, cooking, and spending time with family and friends as much as possible. She loved her time spent in Myrtle Beach walking the beach, finding shark teeth, and walking all around Wilkes-Barre to get her daily exercise. She also loved her trips to Florida, spending time with her daughter Joann and meeting new friends everywhere.

Corinne's first husband and love of her life, Joseph L Schmid, her second husband, John Namey, and her beloved son, Larry Schmid, whom she missed dearly until her last breath, preceded her in death.

Her daughters Rena and her husband Joe Prato, Sharon and her husband Joe Pascucci, and Joann Schmid Teller; granddaughters Gena Panatieri, Corena and her husband Corey Brenner, Jolene Pascucci and Chris Mullin, Joseph Pascucci, Nicole Teller, Lauren Teller and Justin Newkirk, Crystie Teller and Desmond Crayton; great-grandchildren Giavanna Twyman, Charles Cribbs, Maverick Brenner, Aubrielle Leon, JP Mullin, Kasheim Teller, Ramel Hughes, Braylen Newkirk, and Scarlett Rose Bradford; great-great-grandaughter Metztli Antonia Cribbs; and other family and friends will miss her very much.

Celebration of Corinne's Life takes place at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre, on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Visitation begins at 9:30 AM and a Funeral Service begins at 10:30 AM.
