David R. Brace, 78, of River Vale, New Jersey passed away peacefully on February 2, 2018.
Born and raised in Kingston he was a son of the late James R. and Lenora Whiting Brace.
David moved to Clifton, New Jersey after graduating from Kingston High School. He was a foreman at Cardinal Bag & Envelope for more than forty years in New Jersey and relocated with the factory to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1998. After retiring he moved in with his family in River Vale, New Jersey.
He was a dedicated Little League coach, guitar player, and became an expert “Photoshopper” in his retired years. David was an enthusiastic fan of the New York Giants and Yankees.
A brother, James Brace, and sister, Holly Stanukenas, preceded him in death.
Devoted father of David Brace of River Vale and his wife Colleen, and cherished grandfather to Derek and Brielle Brace, David is also survived by his brothers, William Glynn Brace and his wife Laura of Wilkes Barre, and John Brace and his wife Judy of Easton; sisters, Sallie Brace-Ermish of Kingston, and Cheryl Dexter and her husband Bob of Oregon City, Oregon; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Celebration of David's Life will begin Monday with visitation from 5 to 8 PM at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home at 1313 Van Houten Ave in Clifton, New Jersey and will continue on Wednesday morning with visitation from 9 to 10:30 AM followed by a service at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Park.
