Diana W. Morgan, 86, of Wilkes-Barre, was called home to the Lord on January 16, 2025, after a brief illness. She died peacefully with her son Dave, daughter-in-law Julie, and sister Maxine by her side.
Born January 1, 1939 in Ashley she was a daughter of the late Hugh W. and Charlotte Medallis Williams. Diana graduated from Ashley High School and the Nesbitt Hospital School of Nursing and earned a Master's in English from Wilkes College.
Diana worked in nursing and nursing education for her professional life at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes College, and Luzerne County Community College, among others. Her heart, though, was always at home, raising her children, keeping a lovely home, gardening, doting on her grandchildren, and getting together with friends.
Diana was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church, serving as elder and deacon and as a member of their women's association. She was also a longtime member of the Torch Club.
Her son John preceded her in death on October 6, 2021.
Her son Dave and his wife Julie of Longwood, Florida; daughter-in-law Heather of Walnut Creek, California; sister Maxine; grandchildren, Aidan, Emma, and Evan; and other family and friends will miss her very much.
