Dolores H. Hall

Dolores H. Hall, 88, of Washington Square in Wilkes-Barre went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

Born October 20, 1929 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late John and Helen Kabar Poviliatus.

Dolores was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School and dedicated most of her life to raising and caring for her family.

Known to most as Granny, as she preferred, Dolores was a member of the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima and the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima, where she was instrumental in the creation of the Our Lady of Fatima Blessed Grotto on North Street.

Granny will be greatly missed by her husband, Jackson E. Hall; children, Patricia and her husband Tom Lavelle of Kingston, Michael and his wife Diane Hall of Hanover Township, Mary and her husband Al Faymore of Hatfield, and John Hall of Edwardsville; four grandchildren; other family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Monday, April 9, 2018, in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception, 130 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Poor Box at Saint Mary's Church are preferred.
