Donald Fox Neals, 73, of Nanticoke died peacefully following an illness on Monday at The Laurels in Kingston.
Born April 22, 1939 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late John and Mildred Fox Neals.
Don was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School.
An Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, he was honorably discharged after serving from 1962 to 1964.
Before retiring Don was the proprietor of the Fiesta Lounge and Tam-a-Rac Lounge in Wilkes-Barre.
Don truly enjoyed handicapping horse racing and football.
A sister, Mildred Neals preceded him in death in 1976.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Patricia and her husband John Rhodes of Plymouth, Donald Neals of Kingston, and Deborah Lichtenstein of Forty Fort; granddaughters, Mariah and Jessica Rhodes, and Alexis and Alivia Lichtenstein; a brother, John A. Neals of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; his former wife and lifelong friend, Rita Dunsmuir Luse of Kingston; other family and friends.
Celebration of Donald’s Life will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from M.J. McLaughlin Co., Inc., 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 9 AM in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin's on Friday from 4 to 7 PM.
