Edith Callahan, 94, of 440 North River Street in Wilkes-Barre died Sunday at Riverstreet Manor.
Born February 26, 1915 in Swoyersville she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Edith Boyle Callahan.
Edith was a member of Saint Ignatius Parish.
Brothers, Thomas, Anthony and Leonard Callahan and sisters, Anges Kelley, Marie Buckley and Julie Kennedy preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sisters: Margaret Campbell of Jenkins Twp., Grace Callahan and Louise Callahan of Wilkes-Barre
Celebration of Edith’s Life will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM from McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in Church of Saint Ignatius. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Friends may call Wednesday from 9 to 10 AM.
