Eileen M. Mullay, 89, of Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday, July 14, 2022 at The Gardens East Mountain.
Born March 1, 1933 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Wallace.
Eileen lived most of her life in South Wilkes-Barre and worked for Bell Telephone for many years in addition to raising her children, Carlo and Pam.
Her husband of sixty-five years, Carlo J. Mullay, died on July 4, 2019. Sisters Jean Schultz and Mary Ruth Elliott also preceded her in death.
Her son Carlo Mullay and his wife Sandy of San Diego; daughter Pam Ostroski and her husband Ray of Shavertown; grandchildren Chuck Suppon and his wife Mel of Dallas, Lauren Suppon and her fiance Chris Jones of Harveys Lake, Ray Anthony and Brett Ostroski of Shavertown; great-grandchildren Cash and Kingsley Suppon, Charlie Barger, and Crew Jones; brother Frank Wallace; other family and friends will miss her very much.
Eileen is remembered as a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and a loyal and giving friend. She also loved animals and was a lifelong supporter of animal rights and rescue.
Eileen's family will celebrate her life privately in a Funeral Mass with Father James Paisley in the Church of Saint Therese in Shavertown.
Donations to the SPCA of Luzerne County will honor Eileen's memory.
