Eleanor Dombroski

Eleanor Dombroski, 89, of Washington Square Apartments in Wilkes-Barre died Sunday.

Born June 16, 1924 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late John and Josephine Dernoski Dombroski.

Eleanor was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School.

Before retiring she was office manager of the Cross Insurance Agency in Wilkes-Barre for thirty-two years. She later worked as a bookkeeper for local travel agencies.

Eleanor was a member of the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima and a communicant at the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception.

A private Celebration of Eleanor's Life was held Thursday, February 20th with Funeral Mass in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Interment was in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.

A private visitation was held Thursday morning at McLaughlin's - The Family Funeral Service.
