Francis J. Nardone, Jr., 67, of Plains Township, passed away at his home with his loving wife, sons, loyal German Shepard, Rambo, and family at his side on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
Born in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late Frank and Rita Zurla Nardone.
Frank was a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School and attended King's College.
He was a member of the Parish of Saint Nicholas.
Frank was one of the owners of Nardone Brothers Baking Company, where he worked side by side with his family for his entire life. Although work was his life, Frank was a car enthusiast and spent many hours in lively discussions with his sons, family, and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his son, Francis J. Nardone, III, and brother, Michael T. Nardone.
His wife of thirty-five years Kathleen A. Ceklosky Nardone; sons Nicholas and his fiancé Julienne Hanley, and Christopher; sisters Cindy Medokavic and her husband Damir of Gualala, CA and Patty Link and her husband Ken of Sarasota, FL; brother John Nardone and his wife Kat of Stone Harbor, NJ; sister-in-law, Cheryl Nardone of Mountain Top; mother-in-law Jean Ceklosky; brother-in-law Robert Ceklosky and his wife Lisa; nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends will miss him very much.
Celebration of Frank's Life begins Thursday, October 13, 2022, with visitation from 5 to 8 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. It continues on Friday, October 14, 2022, with a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Nicholas.
