Frank Stephen Belles Sr. of Wilkes-Barre died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at Hospice Care of the VNA inpatient unit.
Born Aug. 2, 1950, he was the son of the late Thomas and Leona Barber Belles.
Frank had attended school in Edwardsville and later served in the Marines during the Vietnam War.
He was employed as the maintenance man at North River Street Apartments in Wilkes-Barre for many years.
He was a member of Breslau American Veterans.
Frank was predeceased by his sister, Debra Shotwell.
Surviving are sons, Frank Jr., Forty-Fort; Forest, Wilkes-Barre; brothers, Ronald, Kingston; Joseph, Florida; sister, Elizabeth Shotwell, Pittston; numerous nephews including his fishing partner, Dave Shotwell Sr., Hanover Township.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from McLaughlin Family Funeral Service, 142 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Sandy Piccione (retired) officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m.
