Giuseppe Zafarana, 83, of Kingston, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023.
Born March 20, 1939 in Italy he emigrated to the United States in 1957.
Giuseppe settled in Manhattan and worked with Teamsters Local 807 for many years before retiring and moving to Kingston.
Giuseppe enjoyed bowling, baking pizzas, and the music of Elvis and Johnny Cash. He had a good sense of humor and loved making other people laugh.
His wife, Francesca Marina Aronne Zafarana, preceded him in death on April 13, 2016.
His daughter, Catherine Marie Pia Zafarana of Kingston, and other family and friends will miss him very much.
Celebration of Giuseppe's Life takes place on Thursday, February 16, 2023, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in the Church of Saint Nicholas.
