Gloria R. Dally Collins, 84, a resident of Harvey’s Lake and Englewood, Florida died Monday.
Born April 24, 1926 in Ashley she was a daughter of the late Carl and Eleanor Dugan Dally.
Gloria was a 1943 graduate of Ashley High School.
Mrs. Collins was formerly employed at RCA in Mountain Top and in the local garment industry.
Gloria was an avid swimmer, and also enjoyed playing tennis.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Gloria will be missed by her devoted husband of sixty-four years, Charles W. Collins; daughter, Charlene and her husband Robert Prandy of Ocean Pines, Maryland; grandsons, Eric and his wife Anna and Keith and his companion Natasha; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Gloria’s Life will be held Saturday at 11:30 AM at McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre led by The Reverend John Major, Rector of Prince of Peace Episcopal Church in Dallas. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin’s on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM
Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to American Heart Association, 613 Baltimore Drive, Suite 3, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702-7902
