Jadwiga Polkowski-Blazik, 81, of Wilkes-Barre died Sunday at Little Flower Manor.
Born March 8, 1933 in Kuzie, Poland she was a daughter of the late Josef and Stanislawa Nalewjek.
Jadwiga emigrated from Poland and raised her family in New Jersey where she resided until relocating to Wilkes-Barre several years ago.
Her first husband, Stanislaw and son, Christopher preceded her in death.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Frank Blazik; children, Halina and her husband Jeff Rysz, Marie and her husband Sal Inglia, Jean Horn, Andrew Polkowski and his companion Cheryl, Stas and his wife Terry Polkowski and Theresa and her husband John Assisi; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
Jadwiga’s Life Celebration will begin Tuesday with visitation from 4 to 7 PM at McLaughlin’s. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 AM in the Chapel at Little Flower Manor. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, New Jersey.
