John Luca, 66, of Wilkes-Barre died Friday at Celtic Hospice.
Born March 26, 1948 in Messina, Italy he was a son of Josephine Arena Luca and the late Candeloro Luca.
John emigrated from Italy to the United States with his family, settling in New Jersey in 1961. He was a resident of Wilkes-Barre for the past twenty-five years.
John was a salesman for Raymour and Flanigan for ten years before retiring last year.
He was an enthusiastic fan of the New York Giants.
He will be greatly missed by his mother; wife, the former Arlin Viloria; children, Charlie, Michael, Jeffrey and Raeanne Luca; granddaughter, Juliana; siblings, Joe Luca, Rosa Mannino and Nina Bolowsky; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Celebration of John’s Life will be held Monday with visitation from 11 AM to 1 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Entombment will follow in Saint Mary’s Mausoleum.
Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to the American Cancer Society.
