Joseph G. Lopatofsky, DVM died on September 30, 2016 following complications from dementia. He is survived by his three children Joseph, Sandra and Janet as well as his grandson Nick.
Dr. Lopatofsky was born in Susquehanna County, graduated from Harford Vocational High School, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton and obtained his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.
He was part of the Forty Fort community and operated the Forty Fort Animal Hospital until his retirement.
Celebration of Joseph’s Life will be held at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre on Thursday, November 17, 2016 with visitation beginning at 2 PM and a Liturgy Outside Mass and time of remembrance beginning at 4:30 PM.
