Joseph G. Merante, 60, of Forty Fort died Sunday, April 22, 2018.
A longtime resident of Hyde Park, New York, Joe was an avid outdoorsman.
His mother, Rosemarie Disisto Merante, and brother, Francis Merante, preceded him in death.
Joe will be greatly missed by his father, Valentino Merante; sons, Joe and Frank Merante; sisters and brothers, Mary Altmayer, Angela Ascolillo, Rosemarie Bizzarro, Gerard Merante, Mary Louise Ascolillo, Palma Ann Piccillo, Valentino Merante and Robert Merante; nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Lori Stahley; other family and friends.
Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
