Joseph C. Wroblewski, 56, a lifelong resident of West Nanticoke, peacefully passed away in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
Born January 30, 1967 in West Nanticoke he was a son of Geraldine Ronczka Wroblewski and the late Joseph J. Wroblewski.
Joe was a graduate of the Wilkes-Barre Area Career and Technical Center. For more than twenty years, he served pizzas and a smile at Ruby's Inn in the Hanover Section of Nanticoke.
An avid sports fan, he favored Penn State Nittany Lions and Philadelphia Eagles football. Joe always enjoyed swimming and loved dancing, especially a good Polka. He always accompanied his mother to his nieces school and sporting events, as well as on daily errands.
He will be deeply missed by his mother Geraldine; sisters Christine and her husband John Corgan of Shavetown and Joann Wroblewski of West Nanticoke; brother Steven and his wife Jennifer Wroblewski of Hanover Township; nieces Katelyn Corgan Kotsur and her husband Robert of Twenty-Nine Palms, California and Danielle Corgan Lenahan and her husband Connor of Dallas and Addyson Wroblewski of Hanover Township; great-nieces Kylie and Quinn Kotsur and Luella and Milena Lenahan; and many others.
Celebration of Joe's Life begins Friday, December 1, 2023, with visitation from 4 to 7 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. It continues there on Saturday, December 2, 2023, with gathering at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Aloysius.
