Judith Nicholson Schellenberg

Judith Nicholson Schellenberg, 86, of Orchard East at Newberry Estate in Dallas died Sunday, September 30th at Hospice Community Care.

Born June 5, 1926 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late S. Ralph and Ruth Wolf Nicholson.

Judith attended Kingston schools and graduated from Wyoming Seminary. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilson College in Chambersburg. Following graduation she lived in New York City, married and returned to Dallas.

Mrs. Schellenberg was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Dallas, a sustaining member of the Junior League of Wilkes-Barre and an associate member of the Westmoreland Club.

Her husbands, Foster Hall Rogers and Edward J. Schellenberg, and a brother, Samuel Nicholson preceded her in death.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Darcy Wolf Rogers of Scranton and Hildy Archer Ide and her husband Gary of Huntsville.

Celebration of Judith’s Life will be held Friday at 2 PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 105 Irem Road in Dallas.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the church on Friday beginning at 1 PM.

Arrangements are by McLaughlin’s – The Family Funeral Service.
