Kathleen Hoban, 77, of South Regent Street in Lee Park died Sunday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after being a resident of Little Flower Manor for the past nine months.
Born 12 June 1931 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Cecelia Healey Hoban.
A member of the Class of 1948 of Hanover High School, Kathleen continued her education at Wyoming Seminary Dean School of Business.
Joining the staff of Luzerne County Community College when the campus was located on River Street in Wilkes-Barre, Kathleen was the Student Records Manager in the Admissions Office of the college until her retirement in 1993.
Kathleen was a member of the Parish of Saint Aloysius in Wilkes-Barre and Wyoming Valley Womens Club.

brother: Thomas J. Hoban of Oakland, New Jersey
niece and nephews, Sheila Higgins, John Sponauer, David Hoban and Thomas Hoban
five great-nieces and -nephews
several cousins, including Sally Healey of Wilkes-Barre
and many friends and colleagues, including her dear friend, Ann MacFarland of Wilkes-Barre
Funeral will be held Thursday at 09:30 AM from McLaughlin Family Funeral Service 142 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Church of Saint Aloysius. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
