Kevin Pechal, 60, of Kingston, died Friday, August 4, 2023, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital.
Born August 18, 1962 in New Jersey and raised in Levittown he was the son of the late Francis and Marianne Arnone Pechal.
After attending Delhaas High School in Bristol, Kevin began his love of cooking anything Italian for local and family-owned restaurants. Later in life, he became the "paint guy" perfecting his interior painting skills.
His sister Rachelle Staffieri preceded him in death.
His partner of twenty-two years, Jennifer Jacobson of Kingston; sons Joshua and Matthew; grandson Leo; aunt Rosalie Burtis; niece Angelina; and far too many friends who meant the world to him to mention will miss him very much.
Kevin's family is grateful to his best friends, Mac and Helen, for their constant and unwavering care and support every day of the week. And to the medical team of Geisinger Wyoming Valley and the Frank M. and Dorthea Henry Cancer Center staff, we thank you.
Celebration of Kevin's Life begins Tuesday, August 8, 2023, with visitation from 4 to 8 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. It continues there on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, with gathering at 9:30 AM followed by a prayer service at 10 AM.
