Kimberly Lynne Staub, R.N., 33, of Wilkes-Barre passed away peacefully Thursday morning at Mercy Hospice in Scranton.
Born 09 August 1975 in Wilkes-Barre she was the daughter of Ken and Carol Finney Staub of Ashley.
A 1993 graduate of Hanover Area High School, Kim earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Misericordia University in 1997.
For the past eleven years, Kim has been a registered nurse employed by Mercy Special Care Hospital in Nanticoke, most recently as a charge nurse. Her patients and co-workers were blessed to have Kim as part of their lives and experience her caring, dedication and professionalism combined with great compassion.
Kim was a member of Saint Nicholas Parish and the Junior League of Wilkes-Barre.
Kim enjoyed travelling, especially trips to the beach with her friends. She also loved caring for and spending time with her dog, Max and her cat, Oreo.
Her maternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Finney and paternal grandparents, John and Peg Staub preceded her in death.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are:
her brother: Ken of Ashley, her fiancé, Joe Campisi of Audubon, New Jersey and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Saint Nicholas Church on South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Kim’s family will receive friends at the church beginning at 9:30 AM
