Louis Knapp, 84, a former resident of Barnes Street in Plymouth died Saturday at Manor Care in Kingston.
Born August 30, 1925 in Plymouth he was a son of the late Louis and Josephine Shelski Knapp.
Louis attended Plymouth High School.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
A member of All Saints Parish in Plymouth, Louis enjoyed listening to music and playing golf.
Sisters, Mary Myers and Celia Kovitch preceded him in death.
Surviving are his brother, Joseph and his wife Helen Knapp of Edwardsville; several nieces and nephews, including his goddaughter, Joanne Kiwak of Downingtown and great-nieces and –nephews.
Celebration of Louis’s Life will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM from McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in Church of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Nativity Cemetery in Plymouth Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin’s on Wednesday from 9 to 10 AM
