Marion Hassay, 84, of Wilkes-Barre passed away following an illness on Saturday, December 18, 2021.
Born January 20, 1937 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte Schulte Klein.
Marion was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School. Before retiring, she was a seamstress in the local garment industry for many years and later worked in food service at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Spending time with her family was most important to Marion. She looked forward to their yearly trip to Walt Disney World and the many excursions to Atlantic City with her daughters.
Her husband, Lawrence A. Hassay, died on August 10, 1997. Her siblings, Charlotte Miller, Edward Klein, Genevieve Knauer, and Catherine Sutter, also preceded her in death.
Marions' daughters, Linda Middleton of Wilkes-Barre and Charlene Shouldis of Drums; son-in-law, Don Middleton; grandchildren, Eric, Kristy, and Michael Middleton, April and Scott Shouldis; great-grandchildren; Dea, Keira, Dominik, and Lucy; sister, Dorothy Kennedy; nieces, nephews, other family, and friends will miss her very much.
Celebration of Marion's Life includes a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, December 23, 2021, in the Church of Saint Nicholas, 226 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
