Marion Miller Aaron, 87, formerly of Darling Street in Wilkes-Barre died Saturday at her home in Miners Mills.
Born January 27, 1922 she was a daughter of the late George and Laura Durkin Miller.
Marion's life revolved around her family and the joy she found in spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Aaron was a member of the Catholic Community of North Wilkes-Barre.
Marion married the love of her life, James Robert Aaron on September 26, 1941 and celebrated sixty-three years of marriage with him before he died on November 2, 2004. Her son, James Aaron, Jr., a great-grandson, James Robert Howe, sisters, Rose Dressler and Helen Hill and brothers, George, Francis and Thomas Miller also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ellen and her husband Ronald Tirko of Miners Mills, grandchildren, Deborah and her husband Frank Mazzarella, Denise Donovan, James, III and his wife Leah Aaron, Danielle and her husband Arthur Sims, Deanna Aaron, Ronald Tirko, Jr., Timothy Tirko and Angela and her husband Mike McCord and eleven great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Marion’s Life will be held Wednesday at 09:00 AM from McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 09:30 AM in Church of Saint Stanislaus Kostka. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
