Mary M. Nardone, 91, of Wilkes-Barre passed away at Little Flower Manor on Monday, July 3, 2017.
Born June 7, 1926 in Aiken, South Carolina she was a daughter of the late Van and Maggie Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Nardone; her son Robert; daughter, Jacquelyn Cunningham; brother, George Thompson; and sisters, Elizabeth Thompson and Lori Parker.
Mary will be greatly missed by her daughters, Maryann Nardone and Joan (Dennis) Clarke; sons, Thomas J. (Edith) Nardone and Donald (Diane) Nardone; grandchildren, Amy Beggs, Laura Thorp, Cynthia Matosky, Samantha Clarke, Nicole Telson, Colin, Evan and Bryan Nardone; great-grandchildren, William and Emily Beggs, Myer, Jack, Cooper and Tilman Thorp, and Abigail Matosky; sisters, Margie Owens and Pauline Mosley; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Celebration of Mary’s Life will begin Monday with visitation from 5 to 8 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre and continue there on Tuesday with gathering at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Nicholas. Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
