Michael Francis Janc, 50, of Bear Creek Township died Friday.
Born October 19, 1963 in La Porte, Indiana he was a son of Charlotte Fencl Janc and the late Emil Joseph Janc.
Michael was a graduate of Saint Jude's School in Mountain Top and Bishop Hoban High School in Wilkes-Barre. He earned his baccalaureate degree from King's College.
He was employed by Hart Electronics in Kingston and was most recently manager of Rex TV & Electronics.
Michael was a fan of the Chicago Bears. He had a passion for fishing, riding ATVs and playing drums. He enjoyed caring for his beloved mother and spending time with the family dog, Rocky.
He will be greatly missed by his mother, Charlotte Janc of Bear Creek Village; sister, Therese and her husband Robert G. Smith of Mountain Top; brother, Joseph E. Janc, Esq. of Bear Creek Township; niece, Aubrey Smith and nephew, Ethan Smith of Mountain Top; other family and friends.
Celebration of Michael’s Life will begin Wednesday with visitation at 9:30 AM at the Church of Saint Elizabeth in Bear Creek. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Bear Creek.
Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to the Church of Saint Elizabeth.
