Nancy A. Endler, 77, of Leesburg, VA, died Thursday, October 13, 2022.
A native of Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Mack Endler.
Nancy graduated from Meyers High School in 1963 and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1966. She continued her education, earning a BS in Nursing from George Mason University and an MS in Mental Health Nursing from the University of Virginia.
Nancy practiced nursing at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD, and Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. She was a group therapy leader and Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist for Arlington County Health Services before retiring.
Her brother Ned (Mary Alice) Endler and sister Eileen Morrissey of Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews Patrick (Lara) Endler, Ned (Michelle) Endler, Mollie (Del) McDermott, Mark (Staci) Morrissey, Tim (Amy) Morrissey, Tara (Ed) Wintermute; nine great-nieces and -nephews; and her best friend, her Shih Tzu, MacKenzie, will miss her very much.
Celebration of Nancy's Life begins Monday, October 17, 2022, with visitation at 9 AM and a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Nicholas, 226 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
