Nancy Mohan Rovinsky, 81, of Wilkes-Barre passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, February 11, 2017.
Born March 10, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Charles and Frances Reed Mohan.
Nancy was a 1952 graduate of Saint Mary's High School. She was employed in the accounting department of Bell Telephone Company for several years and later worked as a secretary for Holy Name School in Forty Fort and Holy Child School in Plymouth before retiring.
Nancy was a member of the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima and a regular communicant at the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception.
Her husband, Raymond R. Rovinsky died January 31, 2008 and sister, Mary F. Kaiser died January 26, 2017.
Nancy will be greatly missed by her son, David J. and his wife Akimi of Alexandria, Virginia; granddaughter, Camila; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Celebration of Nancy’s Life will begin Wednesday with visitation from 5 to 7 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre and continue there Thursday with gathering at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Entombment will be in Saint Mary's Mausoleum.
