Patricia Caruso

Patricia Caruso, 85, of Woodland Drive in Kingston died Friday at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

Born October 7, 1925 in London, England she was a daughter of the late John Joseph and Elizabeth Gaylor Chown.

Patricia was educated in London and came to the United States after World War II to marry the love of her life.

Her husband, Francis J. Caruso died October 10, 2001. Several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death.

She will be missed by her children and their spouses, Brian and Jean Caruso of Swoyersville, Barbara and Ronald Ptashinski of Dallas, Patricia Akers and Tom Tomlinson of Naples, Florida, Debra and Robert Williams of Birmingham, Alabama and Michelle and Joseph Revit of Powder Springs, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph and his wife Joyce Chown and a special niece, Barbara Leah of London, England.

Celebration of Patricia’s Life will be held Friday at 9 AM from McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Holy Family. Entombment will be in Saint Mary's Mausoleum in Hanover Township.

Visitation will be held at McLaughlin's on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM
