Patricia Cunningham Meginess, 70, of Country Club Apartments in Dallas died Sunday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born February 2, 1940 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of Martin and Mary Shock Cunningham of Wilkes-Barre.
Patti was a 1958 graduate of Saint Mary's High School.
Mrs. Meginess dedicated the majority of her life to caring for her family.
Patti was a member of Irem Country Club, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 396 and American Legion Post 672 Ladies Auxiliary in Dallas.
Brothers, Martin James Cunningham and Joseph Cunningham preceded her in death.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband Earl, children, Megan and her husband Anthony Manganaro of Pittston and Mark and his wife Eva Meginess of Wilkes-Barre Township; grandchildren, Derek James Toole and Katie Toole and Andi and Kelli Meginess.
Celebration of Patti’s Life will be held Wednesday at 7 PM at McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin’s on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.
Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals, 3551 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140
