Phyllis Martz Chadwick

Phyllis Chadwick, 80, of Wilkes-Barre, died on February 25, 2024.

Born July 21, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Robert Martz and Phyllis Marcheski Martz.

Phyllis was a graduate of Marymount High School.

Before retiring, Phyllis enjoyed a long career in Human Resources with the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Phyllis was a parishioner of St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception and enjoyed serving as a lector for Mass. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, traveling with her husband, and music.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 60 years, Frank J. Chadwick Jr.; sister Roberta Kishbaugh; her family, who she loved very much, daughter Kelly Chadwick; daughter Karen Theurer; son Frank J. Chadwick III; daughter Heather Crawford; daughter Tara Bergman; nephew Justin Kishbaugh; her in-laws, cousins, eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Phyllis's entire family is grateful for the care provided by healthcare professionals at The Gardens at East Mountain and Hospice of the Sacred Heart.

Celebration of Phyllis's Life will be on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception.

Burial in Saint Mary's Cemetery will be private.
