Robert Zarola, 75, a resident of Wilkes-Barre died Thursday at Hospice Community Care.
Born September 28, 1934 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late Dominic and Catherine Fatheryar Zarola.
Bobby was a 1952 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School.
He served our country in the Army from 1957 to 1959 and as a reservist until 1963.
Bobby was employed by Techneglas in Pittston for several years. After retiring, he enjoyed visiting family and friends, listening to music and traveling to Atlantic City.
Sisters, Betty McAnulty and Laura Jean Burkel, and brothers, Joseph, Thomas and William Zarola preceded him in death.
Surviving are his brother, Dominic Zarola of Wilkes-Barre and sister, Kathleen Stile of Naples, Florida; and several nieces and nephews, including Barbara Ann Parada of Plains.
Celebration of Bobby’s Life will be held Monday at 11 AM at McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin’s on Sunday from 4 to 7 PM.
