Robert L. Carmick

Robert Lawrence Carmick, 84, of Hagerstown died Thursday at Washington County Hospital.

Born 11 April 1925 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late Anthony and Hattie Elizabeth Koscielski Carmick.

He was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre.

Robert worked for National Cash Register for more than thirty years, retiring as office manager at Hagerstown in 1975.

He was a member of the Parish of St. Ann in Hagerstown.

Brothers, Anthony Orelik and Edward Carmick preceded him in death.

He and his wife, the former Catherine Klein celebrated their sixty-first wedding anniversary on 17 April.
Also surviving are children, Kathy and her husband Frank McDonald of Clarks Summit, Karen and her husband James Maggi of West Sayville, New York and Robert C. and his wife Dawn Carmick of Walkersville, Maryland, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from McLaughlin Family Funeral Service 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in Church of Saint Nicholas. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.

Friends may call Monday 5 to 8 PM.

Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to Saint Joseph’s Center, 2010 Adams Avenue, Scranton, PA 18509-1508
