Robyn Lynn Reed

March 15, 1952 — May 9, 2016

Robyn Lynn Reed of Wilkes-Barre passed away peacefully on May 9th in the loving company of her children and family.

Robyn was born on March 15 1952 in Roslyn New York to Robert and Marion Leonardo.

Growing up she was an active member of 4H and a cheerleader for the Westbury Wheels football team. She graduated from Walt Whitman High School in Huntington Station and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree with honors from Clinton County Community College.

One of her first jobs was at the Kent-Delord House Museum where she developed a lifelong passion for antiques and crafts.

Robyn was naturally dedicated to helping people, this led her to pursue a career at the American Red Cross and then The March of Dimes. She continued helping people as a customer service representative at her final job at Steve's Town and Country Dry Cleaners.

Her mother, Marion; sisters Jane and Tracy; and nephew Jason preceded her in death.

Robyn will be greatly missed by her children Sarah and Joshua, her father Robert, brothers Steven and Keith, sisters Diane, Jaclyn and Cory as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Robyn’s Life will be held Thursday from 2 to 5 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Remembrances will be shared beginning at 4:30 PM.
