Roland S. Parham, 69, of Wilkes-Barre died Monday at Commonwealth Hospice.
Born April 21, 1943 in Emporia, Virginia, Roland relocated to Wilkes-Barre in his youth.
He was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School.
Roland was an operating engineer for UGI Corporation for thirty years before retiring.
He was a devoted Eagles football fan and formerly served as president of the Heights Packers Booster Club.
A granddaughter, Ashley and sister, Rosiland preceded him in death.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, the former Tammy Lynn Stefanski; children, Rosiland and her husband Robert Davis of Delaware, Roland Parham, Jr. of Wilkes-Barre, Chris and Jeffrey Parham of Connecticut, Lisa and her husband Craig Smith of New York, Shelly and her husband Carl Denson of Connecticut, Dwayne Parham of Georgia, Melody Parham of Wilkes-Barre, Tori Parham at home and Brian Parham of Oregon; grandchildren, Ashley, Robert, Jr. and Mariah Davis, Chris, Jr. and Kristina Parham, Ashley Parham, Madison Smith, Carl, Jr., Myla and Sydnee Denson, Monique, Lydia and Donovan Parham, and Devonta Parham; great-grandchildren, Aniya and Avery; his faithful friend, Brandy; other family and friends.
Pastor Shawn Walker of First Baptist Church will lead the Celebration of Roland’s Life on Thursday at 12 PM at McLaughlin's - The Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin's on Thursday from 11 AM to noon.
